The Commercial Boat Operators Association (CBOA) is the organisation looking after the interests of commercial boats on the inland waterways.

Mark Rowland operates Star Class Carrying from his boat Callisto. He is based at Stockton, on the Grand Union Canal in Warwickshire, and covers the Grand Union Canal from Warwick to Norton Junction, the North Oxford Canal, the Ashby Canal, the Leicester Section of the Grand Union, the River Soar and the Trent & Mersey Canal between Derwent Mouth and Fradley.



The HNBC is the club for owners of, and those interested in, historic narrow boats.

KJB Resoration: Kris Jungmeyr offers a full narrowboat restoration service, including woodwork and he specialises in Rayburn installation and troubleshooting.

Inland Navigators offer the chance to enjoy a “back to basics” holiday aboard the historic narrowboat “William". This is a fantastic way to get afloat, and to get a taste of “real” canal boating. This experience comes highly recommended.
